I am married to a Norwegian Sea Captain
and have three wonderful kids who are all preparing to leave the nest in the next years.
I have lots of interests and passions such as baking....
Cooking....
My pets.....I have 4 Leonbergers, Isabella, Nanna, Bently, and Jackson plus two Leonberger girls who live in co-owned homes. I´ve had 2 litters of Leonberger puppies and have sold puppies to Germany, Japan, Finland, and USA. We also have 1 Australian Shepherd, Jenny and our latest little energy bundle- Cookie, a Bichon Havanais!
We live in a beautiful log cabin home in the middle of the woods...
But don´t read my blog expecting interior inspiration...I haven´t a clue how to put together an interior snazzy home...my home right now is my children and dogs castle...I´m just the cook and caretaker...
Our home is on the lovely island of Helgøya which is the largest island in the middle of the largest lake in Norway called the Mjøsa.
I love to hike in the mountains and forests around here...
And just within the last year we´ve taken up traveling and we were in Sweden last summer and got to experience an American classic car get-together which is also a passion of mine but as of the moment there is no classic car in my garage....maybe someday...
And in October we took the whole family to Rome, Italy for 7 amazing days....I fell madly in love with the eternal city and want to go back as soon as I can!
Finally I like to play around with my camera. I am by no means trying to go pro...I haven´t a clue what the buttons mean on my camera, I basically turn it on, focus (as best I can with my shakey hands) and shoot....and sometimes it works out great and sometimes I have to use a fancy smancy photo editing program to get the results I want...regardless it´s fun...
I don´t think for one second I´m the best read out there in cyberworld but if you´ve taken the time to stop by and visit me I´m going to give you the best I´ve got to offer...I don´t ask for anything in return but saying hi in the comment section is always appreciated :-)
Until next time my friends...enjoy your stay!
Amy :-)
