Seeing The Signs

So I have this new little hobby. Or should I call it collection? I´ve started collecting metal signs with humorous or uplifting sayings on them. I never really considered it a hobby or thought about it as a collection but it´s starting to add up slowly but surely. Whenever I find a sign I haven´t seen before, especially if it makes me laugh or inspires me I have to get it. (as money allows) Today I found a store that had several signs I hadn´t seen before and several of the signs came home with me. I also picked up a sign I had ordered from a store here in Norway called Kremmerhuset.

Right now my signs are primarily in my kitchen where we gather to eat, to talk, and to hang out. They are great conversation pieces when we have people over. Guests sit down, I find them something to drink and ask they are waiting on me they read my walls....it´s kinda like graffiti only nicer...and I can take it down without washing if I get tired of it but I probably won´t. Here ya go, pretend you´re sitting down in my kitchen and have a look around....let me know what you think...

Translation: Recipe for Love

1 pinch of trust
1 handful of thoughtfulness
2 deciliters of understanding
1tbsp shared secrets
1 deciliter dedication
2tbsp respect
2 deciliter common interest
3 tsp listening abilities
and a bag of happiness!

Now, who would like to have a sign exchange with me? I figure, out there in the great big world there have to be some incredibly funny, inspiring, and wonderful signs that will make me laugh, make me think, inspire me, and lift me! If you know of such a sign and would like to send it to me I´ll send you a sign back. Sound interesting? Send me an email or write me a personal message on facebook if you´d like to be a part of this sign exchange. I´ll take signs in Norwegian and English as these are my language abilities and if I´m going to enjoy the signs I should at least know what they say??? I´ll do my best to find a fun sign to send back but you´ll have to give me a hint as to what kind of sign you´d like so I don´t get you one you already have :-)))

And let me just say, I will try not to be picky but cheesy signs like, I had to get rid of the kids because the cat was allergic...well, that just isn´t me...I don´t love my cats more then my kids....my dogs maybe....NAW...just kidding, geez, shame on you who really thought that could be true!!! Oh and the one that reads, I keep losing weight but it keeps finding me...um....too obvious thanks ;-))) hahahaha, it´s cute and I´m contemplating it but ya know, I don´t always like to state the obvious...ok...sometimes but not always...hahahaha...I just want to laugh. I want to sit here and eat my cornflakes and have a good laugh when I read my walls...it´s a great way to start the morning and then to read the inspirational signs is a great way to end my day...so let me know if you´d like to exchange signs with me and we´ll see what we can do!!

Right now I´m making focaccia bread...I´ve only gotten this far...
So I don´t have any finished photos to show you but it will eventually look like this....

Going to serve this together with some fresh shrimp (good sized shrimp) and aioli and lemons...yum yum. Might even have a little Captain Morgan in a glass with some pepsi...just because it´s Friday and because it helps me to deal with the three females in heat in this house and the two horny boys....hey....we do what we have to around here to survive...hahahaha....

Have a lovely Friday evening everyone...

Until next time my friends....
