So We Got A Little Snow.....

Last night it began to snow. Sarah had taken little Cookie and Jenny out for a final airing yesterday evening while the snow was falling and they had a blast. Cookie thinks snow is the best thing next to chicken necks...and that´s saying a lot. I wish I had thought to take a photo of her when they brought her inside totally covered in snowballs on her underside, but I was too busy laughing. She looked normal from the top but when you looked at her belly and underside she was covered in snowballs. So funny...but she wasn´t complaining!

I hadn´t noticed how much snow we actually got until I was heading to work this morning...as I was driving down to the main road from our house. I kept thinking, I have to call the Captain and get him to go take photos of the trees when it´s light outside! It was so cool driving in the dark with trees weighted down by the heavy snowfall! Being the ever obliging honey, the Captain went out and took these photos at first daylight...you can see our tire tracks from where we drove under the trees....that was fun.....

One positive side to all this white is that it´s easier to see the neighbours....
Why hello Misses Cow, how are you mooing???? Hahahahahahaha......that was my attempt at humor, anyone laughing??? I have moooooore where that came from if you´re interested....HAHAHAHAHAHA! Ok ok...what a tough crowd you are tonight!!!

So my friends, what´s the weather like in your corner of the world??

Until next time my friends...be good and drive careful :-)))

Oh. My. Gosh! That is some snow, Amy. Here in Maryland in the good ole USA, it's bitter cold, a little windy, but other than that, quiet. Your snow is beautiful~

One of the most beautiful sites to see is snow covered trees! It's nothing but sunshine and blue skies here with a high of 75 degrees for the last 10 days or so...so different from Norway!

You have soooo much snow than us "city folk" here in Hamar! I am a little jealous...we need just a bit more snow and the temperature to stay under so we don't have to worry so much about the icy sidewalks, road and driveways! Pretty icy in my neck of the woods!

(Pinnekjøtt is DELICIOUS! I am looking forward to learning how to make it!)

Amy, those photos are gorgeous, my hat's off to the Captain. Here in Tennessee (still home for a visit) it's warm and sunny, and I suppose back in Oslo it's not nearly as pretty as your little slice of Norwegian heaven. Thanks as always for sharing!

Amy, those are the most gorgeous snow pics I have ever seen! You should enlarge them on the blog! Then I could and stare at these all day :)
Truly beautiful!

Gorgeous photos of the snow . . . Misha sent me your way so I could see your pictures. I love the black cow, (Angus?) peeking out at the snow.

I live near the west lakeshore in Michigan and usually our snowfalls are amazing. Not this year, we have had one snowfall of about five inches. Today our temperatures are at 50 degrees . . . needless to say, our snow is gone.

I LOVE THE SNOW . . . So thank you for sharing these glorious photos!

Happy Twenty Twelve . . .
