We are experiencing a wave of beautiful weather lately with only small light showers every once in a blue moon just to keep things nice and green. It’s really gorgeous around here right now…
We decided to run over to Sweden to do some cheap shopping for ourselves and Julia’s confirmation party next weekend. Our inlaws are here until after the confirmation so they followed along in their RV.
We had a lovely drive and passed lots of quaint places…
…and big gorgeous farms…
We also passed an area where there were tons of giant rocks all around. Stig said they had rolled down from the mountains probably- only problem was there wasn’t exactly what you would call mountains in that area…so who knows where they came from, but they sure made for an interesting landscape…
While in Sweden we found lots of goodies- of course!! We always do, summer shoes were bought in for everyone, tons of meat was bought, beer and wine, and monster energy drinks. We also found these guys….

Oh doctor doctor!! You must help me! I have a condition, I think it’s called Norwegianitis…I get panicky, feel like everything costs so much and go crazy each time I cross the Swedish boarder…I think if you want to get to the ROOT of my problem…
I think you need to look at some of my symptoms…
I know, I know, a moment on the lips forever on the hips….I’m doomed….do you think you can help me Doc?? What’s that??? Stop going to Sweden??? But……then I wouldn’t have my “symptoms”……..hey, you know what? I’m suddenly feeling better…yeah, thanks anyways Doc!!!

Didn't realize you couldn't get these in Norway.. although where I live, I haven't seen root beer or Skittles!

I love A&W root beer. I can't eat the rest of it and am trying to make a concerned effort to curb my love-handles! We've been getting the fro-yo version of Ben & Jerry's half-baked. Pretty darn good, too!

That makes me laugh. But I can totally understand food cravings. Good thing that they are available close by.
