Isn’t this a sweet little flowering plant? It’s name on it’s tag says: Campanula…
I just love this little plant…it was one of my purchases yesterday..decided my place needs a little bit of colour…and this was sweet..
Haven’t seen my deer friend (hahaha…no pun intended) today but this little guy has been greatful for the bread..
Wish I could tell you what kind of bird this is and if anyone knows, leave it in the comments if you’d like…but he was pretty and very active- flying back and forth to the bread and the tree…I guess he enjoys a good rye bread!
As for myself and my lunch today I decided to use my Focaccia bread mix from Møllerens today and I made focaccia bread in my wood oven..
For those of you who can’t get hold of a focaccia bread mix you can check here for several recipe suggestions to make your own focaccia bread… Focaccia bread recipes
I am very pleased with how the bread turned out
I only put rosmary and sea salt on mine but you can add black olives to this as well…I have kids in the house so black olives will have to wait until they move out…this was still great though and I made myself a sandwich of rocket lettuce (ruccola salat), red onion, blue cheese, a type of parma ham (spekeskinke), and cherry tomatoes. YUM….
I spoil myself….it’s good! We should all spoil ourselves when we get the chance! This afternoon I’ll head out into the white flurries and take the lionesses and our little lion king for a walk..hopefully with my darling children along with me. Tonight is my turn to drive Julia and her friends to gymnastics…it’s just an ordinary day in little ol’ Norway….
Hope you have a wonderful day! Until next time my friends..

Wow - that wood fired oven is amazingly cool. Bet that bread tastes delicious!
Hi,
I'm a friend of Kelli's and have been reading your blog for a while. :)
Just wanted to say that the bird is called a jay in UK-English and a Nøtteskrike in Norwegian.
That plant is so pretty. I love focaccia bread...I dip it in a combination of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. That's my fave snack at the moment. xoxo
oh, that's one of my favorite breads though i like green olives instead of black. you can also top it with onions or tomatoes if you like.
I wish I had lunch at your place today, that looked so good:) I should really bake some bread tomorrow,
hugs from marilyn
Love that wood oven. And that bread! Darn, that sandwich looks good.
Does that oven make pizza also? Oh my, a real old fashioned wood burning oven. My Grandma had one, and I still can remember how it heated her little house. It was a treat to stand by it, and warm ourselves in winter.
