I’ve been missing in action the last days, my friends who have my female puppy living with them were here Friday night and spent the night until Saturday. We went to a dog show on Saturday so that was the occasion. It’s always great to see them, they are such lovely people and Shakira is absolutely gorgeous and so well rounded- a very sweet puppy who reflects the love she is shown in her home. This makes me so happy. We had a great time together Friday evening, I had made quiche and a salad and some garlic bread and we finished the night with a small glass….or two….of liquor (Dooley’s…mmmmm) before heading to bed. The next day we went to the show which was an hour and a half away with Nanna and Shakira. Shakira won her class and was best in opposite against the male who won his class. So we were so proud of her! Nanna on the other hand got a nice critique but was told to go home and lose weight!!! The judge said she loved her face but that her weight was ruining her movement and we needed to work on that and she would be perfect! Hmmm…so now Isabella, Nanna, and I will be working on our weight so our movement will be better…certainly don’t want gorgeous gals with bad movement now do we?
While we were at the show I fell in love….with this face…
I know I know…you’re all shaking your heads saying..NO AMY….NO…not another dog!!! But look….
Tell me you wouldn’t want to cuddle up to that little face and give her lots of kisses….
And I could tell this breed would suit my lifestyle also…
But don’t worry folks (and Stig if you’re reading this) I might be crazy for the adorable furry faces…but I’m not crazy enough to take on more then I can handle…..ok ok…maybe I have more then I can handle now, but I know I can’t handle anymore right now…so this little sweetheart is just going to have to be loved from afar….for now I have these adorable babies to love and cuddle with and what more can a girl really ask for?
I’d like to take a moment and wish everyone a Very Happy Valentine’s Day…may love fill your days and your life always. Today is also Mother’s Day in Norway…and since we mothers are worth celebrating two times…I wish all of you a wonderful Mother’s Day too!
Until next time my friends…

All your dogs are deliciously kissable and adorable! And I love that cute St. Bernard pup!
Happy Mother's Day! Enjoy.
I've always loved St. Bernards - and just the name makes me smile.
happy valentine's day!!!
Yes, St. Bernards are totally adorable but... they drool, ALL THE TIME. There, that should give you some willpower :)
Happy Mother's Day, Amy! Your one of the coolest mom's I know! Your kids are lucky, and Stig...even luckier!
Oh, those pups. Be still my heart! I want one. I need one :)
Happy Valentines Day, too!
xo, misha
I love the picture of all of your pets. IT kind of reminds me of the old Sesame Street song...one of these things is not like the other. Cute!
Hello, Amy! Thank you for leaving such a sweet note! Yes, I have been following you (and your lovely puppies) for a bit...it's been so nice to read about other Americans here! I do love your blog (and your puppies...how did you EVER say no to this one?!). Life here in Oslo is getting better...I have met a group of American women and that has helped a great deal. To boot, they all have young babies, so we've had a good bit in common. I do love it here, but there are the bad days...especially in the beginning. Where are you located? My husband says I should speak to you about getting a Leonberger...he's in love after seeing your photos...did I mention we are dog lovers??? I realized we hadn't put up a blog of our puppy, so I will get on that tonight...with photos! :) Thank you for writing me...and if it's ok with you, I'll look you up on Facebook and we can keep in touch!
Chelsea
your new found love reminds me of the movie Beethoven!!! :o)
