So How Is The Weather?

This is like the hottest subject on facebook these days and it’s almost like a pissing match- who has the coldest weather…well, today it was a cool –24C here on the top of ol’ Helgøya. The sun was up too but she blanketed herself in the warmth of the clouds…

The sun didn’t shine over the entire island just in certain spots…so some places were gloomy and extra cool looking..

Several views look like they came right from a postcard or something..like our little village cloaked in white..

I want to tell you it was really no bother to drive around the island, jumping out every now and then to snap a photo for you….really…the temperature was great in the car and I had my Nisse (elf) hat on which is made of wool…so I was warm when I was snapping these…

I did drive around the island to take these photos but early I was out walking with Laila…we’re very good girls…we even got Stig to come along and he took these photos of us..isn’t he nice..I’m the short one on the right..you might not recognize me with all the snow on my eyelashes and such…but it’s me…

Aren’t we a colourful pair? Nothing like a little frost nip on your cheeks…definitely a sign of a healthy lifestyle don’t you think?? ;-))

Hope you’re having a warm and cozy day in your part of the world my friends..thanks for stopping by and saying hi!!!

Until next time…..

You know it's cold when your hair freezes! :D -33 C is the coldest I have experienced when we were in Tynset for Christmas...but I am telling you, - 27 C early in the morning on Mjøsa feels WAY colder! Thanks to the humidity I guess. . .

uhmmmm, no...not this girl. I'm freaking out at 15F here. LOL I'm a southern girl for a reason I think.

people make fun of me but I guess I would compare it to people that are not used to our 100F heat and 100% humidity in the summer. there are tradeoffs for everyone I'm sure.

stay warm!

Awwwww, I still want that snow Amy. I love the last pic. It is just so cute.

Did I tell you that I'm in LA now? I was hoping I can experience some cold coming from my part of the globe. But no, I was greeted by a temp of 77.
