Blue skies and sunshine invited us into the autumn woods…There is a song the Norwegian children sing when they walk in the woods which VERY loosely translated goes something like this:
I walked along the path and searched the woodland calm. I heard from the hills a bird that said Coo Coo…coo coo coo coo coo.. This is one of those things that is much better in Norwegian- trust me! Still, I hope you enjoy the photos below!
Needless to say some of us were more pooped then others after this walk! ;-))

Hi Amy - I came to your blog via Kate of Country Girl because I saw that you lived in Norway - you lucky girl. We came two or three years ago on the Hurtigruten from Bergen to Kirkenes and back - we thought Norway was the most wonderful country. It was lovely to see it in your photographs today. those colors are amazing!! Breathtaking!! and to think I was just there a few weeks ago and it was all green!
