So I’ve been thinking…..really hard…
Am I living the best life I can? If I was to pass tomorrow could I say I had a great life and did everything I wanted to do? Was I a person to be proud of?
Sometimes I think my life is busy and crazy and when I get a moment I love to do this…
Then I feel guilty for my lazy and uninspiring activity and wonder if there is something better? Taking inspiration from the amazing Chronicles Of A Country Girl I’d thought I’d ask a few questions and hope those of you who are reading this will take five seconds to answer them…
1. Does the TV or computer dominate your free time?
2. What is your best way to relax and wind down?
3. What are your top three things on your list of to-do before you’re days are over here on earth?
4. What is your best advice for living your best life?
Those are pretty heavy questions so I’ll stop there. Hope we’ll get a lot of answers as I always seem to draw inspiration from those of you who answer here and from reading all of your amazing blogs.
Be responsible for passing around a smile today!!
Until next time my friends…

I guess I should answer my own questions first, even though by writing this I was mostly hoping to draw inspiration from you all..but here it goes:
1. Unfortunately I'd have to answer yes to this, I spend way too much time on the computer (reading all the wonderful blogs) and too much time watching TV, though I admit a lot of times the tv is on simply for noise because it gets too quiet sometimes.
2. I think the best way to relax and wind down is to walk with my dogs in the woods at an easy pace..taking time to look around..coming back and having a relaxing easy dinner, a warm shower and a cup of tea and listening to the radio..
3. My top three things to do before I leave this earth: 1.)make someone else's life better through some act of kindness that was totally unexpected.2.) Travel so I can understand other cultures and be a better person because of that. 3.)Build a strong loving family which continues through the generations
4. My best advice might be to not take everything so seriously, laugh..everything seems lighter when you can laugh, follow your heart more then your brain, and always look at the cup as half full rather then half empty!
Whew those were hard!!!! Your turn!! ;-))
I spend a lot of time on the computer - both for work and for pleasure. However, I try to minimize it to when the kids are out playing or watching kiddie programs or videos. I don't watch TV unless it's to watch a film with my kids or husband.
I love reading and walking the dog! And going to a spa - but that only happens once in a blue moon.
Top three things to do:
Mmm.. difficult...
Travel again with the kids.
Get more involved in charity or voluntary work.
See my kids loved and safe out in the world.
five seconds to answer them…
1. Does the TV or computer dominate your free time? usually the computer - since I'm unemployed I spend a lot of time searching for jobs and reading blogs.
2. What is your best way to relax and wind down? reading, talking to friends.
3. What are your top three things on your list of to-do before you’re days are over here on earth? find a job, watching my nieces and nephews grow up, and buy a house.
4. What is your best advice for living your best life? be true and honest with yourself - treat everyone as you would want you to be treated.
1. No, I wouldn't say the TV or computer dominates my free time, but I would say it is an area that needs improvement. I don't own a TV, but I do spend too much time on the computer and am working on minimizing that time.
2. My best way to relax and wind down is to spend time in nature, preferably near a large body of water. I also enjoy quiet libraries, especially old and large libraries. The NY Public Library (Bryant Park) reading room is a beautiful space, but I live in San Francisco, CA, so I don't see it often.
3. Before my time here expires, I feel it is important I focus in these areas:
One, to always treat others with respect.
Two, to spend quality time with the people most important to me.
Three, to have made a positive difference, even if small, in at least a few lives.
4. My best advice for living a good life is: Remember your priorities.
Thank you for asking these questions. Answering them was a good exercise and a good reminder of what is important to me.
