Superwoman Diets!!

wonder-woman

So “Superwoman” aka- ME, has had a tough summer…starting with the loss of my mom and then all the trouble with my first litter…excuses excuses…my weight has sky rocketed…and the bottom line is it’s time to do something about it once and for all.  Yes, I did blog about this once upon a time before also, before all hell broke loose in my life- that time things didn’t work out…so this is take number two…

bike

I don’t care how nasty it looks to see all of me piled on top of an exercise bike….everyone has to start at some point and if you have let yourself go so badly, then you deal with the ugliness to get to the good stuff…

I’ll be walking my dogs also…more then they’ve been walked..I have an easy breed, they don’t demand things like a border collie…so it’s easy to say, “eh, it’s raining today, we will walk tomorrow” but no more…and I won’t be walking my dogs like this guy…

Nope, we’ll be using the beautiful nature around us to take the gang out for some exercise…they love it and we love it..

My attempt number two at this new lifestyle has started off great. I went to the gym this morning and took 20 minutes on the treadmill to warm up, then a round with the weight machines and then 10 minutes on the bike to warm down. Came home took pups for a walk in the woods (the one you see above) and then made some of that scrumptious roasted tomato soup I had made the other day, for lunch.

Now I’m going to go shower and go to the hair salon and get my hair cut and highlighted. Have to try and look good for the Captain when he comes home on Thursday!!! ;-))

Hope you all have a great day, do something good for yourself and I’ll see ya again soon….

Update: Below is a photo of my new hairdo I spoke of earlier :-))

That is not you on the bike. I think it's great that you're doing something good for yourself in a healthy way. I began the walking in earnest just last week when the weather turned. I cannot eat fat anymore because of a gall bladder issue that's been discovered. Pain is a huge deterrant to eating badly, however! Good luck on your healthy way of living!

Personally I find it more encouraging to see someone WORKING out, meaning sweating and looking all gross, than the stick thin girls gabbing on their cellphones while they're barely moving the bike pedals. You go girl! Doesn't matter what you look like on a bike or treadmill, only that you feel good with yourself afterward.

Good Luck.

I struggle with my weight yet life in the Gym there is no obesity in Norway unless you see me and - oh look there it is!! ( I am 34% fat and not the most attractive in the gym!)

My motto - Nothing tastes as good as being Slim feels. I always question before I put something in my mouth and I put my weight lose into small achievable portions then I don't get too over welmed by the amount I need to loose!

All the best

Good luck on your healthy journey! Mine stalled this week because of allergies and illnesses in the family but I vow to be back on next week - sometimes a body just needs a break.

Cute hair!

Really cute haircut. I am trying to get back to the gym too. It is so annoying having a husband who eats 3000 calories a day and is underweight. Good luck!
