I’d Like To Thank All My Fans For This Award…

Ok, ok, maybe that is a bit dramatic but hey, it’s my first award, not really sure how to act!! The lovely Hagemor has honored yours truly with her first award- thanks sweetie!!

I guess the rules for recieving this award are that I have to tell you ten things about myself and then pass it on to five new bloggers…hmmm..are you ready?

My husband and my kids are my best friends, they make me laugh til I get tears in my eyes sometimes!!

I have the world’s best parents and I miss my mom terribly.

I have one sister who is younger then me and completely different then me and I love her and her three gorgeous daughters to pieces.

I’m completely nuts when it comes to animals…especially my dogs

I love to play around with my camera and dream of having a macro lens someday..

I was born in Warren, Pennsylvania, lived in Mercer and Grove City Pennsylvania, Derby Kansas, Hutchinson Kansas, and Pratt Kansas, and Bedford Texas, Austin Texas, and San Antonio Texas. The last 14 years I’ve been living in Norway.

I adore cooking for people and listening to the compliments afterwards…makes me so happy :-))

I have no sense of humour in Norwegian, even though I try and try and I’m often very misunderstood and the more I try and explain myself the more misunderstood people are with me..hahahaha

I HATE being overweight but am obviously not committed enough to doing what I need to do to lose weight and I know exactly what I should do…but I don’t…

I am extremely loyal to those closest to me and honest to a fault sometimes..

This afternoon at work I got a text message from Sarah “Fresh corn again!!” Corn is now in season again and you can buy it straight from the field..I can’t tell you how DELICIOUS this stuff is..I drove straight there after work and bought 6.5kg of these lovely cobs and Sarah and I shared one on the way home..we just couldn’t wait!! We’ll be stopping in and buying more as long as we can. I paid 140kroner for 6.5kg and this is great- as you usually pay like 20kr for two cobs in the store and they aren’t nearly as good.

I also got the photos I ordered of the kids in gigantic size and I bought simple black frames for them…these are 50x70cm in size..so HUGE..but they look so nice in my living room and I’m so pleased with them..

Well, I’d love to stay and chat longer with you but I have a bunch of fur buddies who are looking at me like, “are you ever going to get off that thing and take us for a walk???” So I’m outta here folks..the woods are calling…hope you have a great evening and we’ll see ya again soon…
