I’ve blogged today but decided this evening I’d get a head start on the weekend. I’m working tomorrow and then the afternoon is filled with dogs so I’ll just take this quiet moment to share some photos and thoughts with you and wish you a very peaceful, happy, weekend surrounded by loved ones or in the joy of your own presence..
“Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.” – Abraham Lincoln
"People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only
if there is light from within."
-Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched…but are felt in the heart".” – Helen Keller
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
“Those things that nature denied to human sight, she revealed to the eyes of the soul.” – Ovid
“If you are going through hell, keep going.” – Sir Winston Churchill
I’ll leave you with this and wish you a lovely Friday..See you again on Saturday! :-))
P.S. All of these flower shots were taken at the local cemetary…yes, I’m morbid, but it’s so peaceful and quiet in a church yard cemetary, there is history and I’m curious about the lives that were lived..who were they, were they loved, did they pass away alone or with many loved ones surrounding them? Some gravesites have gorgeous flowers and others have nothing..some people lived very long lives and others very short lives…but despite the length of their lives were they good ones? Hope you are all living your best life- take care my friends..

gorgeous shots and that quote by Abe is one of my favorites. i think it's so true.
those are beautiful images.
Love the quotations, especially the one about us being like stained glass windows - and Churchill's quote!
Beautiful photos - I love the way you have even captured a wasp in the first flower!
Have a lovely dog and kiddie filled day!
Don't feel morbid! The cemetery near our apartment is one of my favorite places to walk. It just feels so peaceful, and open, and the flowers are so gorgeous (don't care to think about why...). It's a very different feel than cemeteries I've been to in the US, that's for sure!
Beautiful pictures! I don't think it is morbid at all. BTW, I want one of you puppies. I found a local breeder and am going to see when they will have new pups.
