Poopies…

No, I didn’t spell that wrong…that is exactly how it should be spelled..not puppies…poopies…because that is what they do…if they aren’t doing this….

……then they are pooping.  In fact, I was going to take a photo of the poo and pee these little guys can leave in just 30 minutes…30 minutes folks!!! But let’s face it…pee doesn’t photograph well and poop looks like…..well….poop when it’s photographed…so you’re spared those “enjoyable” photos!!!

Seriously, puppies- excuse me, poopies, are a lot like children…you forget all the bad stuff so you keep wanting more..like this is bad…

Especially when I live in a log cabin and 90% of my home is wood…this is really not cute at all….

This is kinda cute but at times the testosterone levels run a bit high and this fun play turns into big time whoopin’ matches..

With four of these “little” guys in the house I think they are most adorable when they are doing this…

Unfortunately these moments don’t last that long…

So I’ve been looking at my cherry trees….watching the birds feast…loving the colour on the cherries but not being a big cherry eater myself I haven’t given them very much more thought….however, I’ve been reading on some other blogs how people were picking big bowls of cherries to make cherry liquor or cherry marmalade and not wanting to be left out considering I have cherries available..I decided to pick some last night….so out I went with my bowl..none of the kids would help me, according to Sarah there are bugs in the trees…well, I didn’t see any bugs but I did feel several times like things were crawling on me and those damn flies the cow neighbours brought with them were driving me nuts…but I picked….I picked almost 1kg or 2.2lbs. The jam powder package said I needed 2kg but I figured I’d half the recipe since as I said, I’m not a big cherry eater in my house…and so I set about making cherry marmalade. I almost forgot the cherries while I was cooking them…and I forgot to add the powder to the water while I was cooking them, so I did it all after I took them off the burner…mixed the powder and sugar…again, probably messed it up but this was the end result…

Looks pretty enough…although I don’t know that I’ll actually eat it…it photographs better then poo and pee…don’t ya think??? I’ll let you know if I get brave enough to try it. Dad, sure wish you were here, you’d have a go at this I know..you love cherries…maybe I can freeze this until you make it over???

Alright, since you’ve gotten plenty of puppy photos here I’m going to leave you with a video of Julia playing her new electric guitar we got her for her birthday. Her birthday isn’t until the 9th of August but we were out shopping yesterday and found this nice little package deal. So here she is..having a go at it..I have to say for a 13 year old girl who hasn’t ever taken a lesson before, she is awesome. God only knows what she could do with lessons…or more practice..I told her if she got really good at this we’d look at a more expensive guitar..but she has to prove herself first..and I have a feeling she just might do that…enjoy folks..
