I figured since everything else was wet we could start passing around some wet willies…anyone care to start????
Well, seriously, it’s really wet…I’m not joking, I don’t recall what it’s like to walk across dry grass..our lawn furniture has needed a good towel rub the few times we’ve been able to go out and sit…
The teepee we got to go along with the tunnel for the puppies and keep them out of the HOT sunshine is still brand new and unused…
The Norwegians have a saying, There is no bad weather only bad clothing….well, I can assure you after 14 years here I still have trouble with that one sometimes…so what does this American do on rainy days like this?
Makes pizza and watches the kids in the house playing with the puppies…
Nothing like a pretty girl and an adorable pup to make up for the lack of sunshine outside…
Have a colourful evening my friends and remember….The sun will come out…tomorrow…bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow….there’ll be sun….

Poor you with all that rain. And I hate it when the Swedes say that thing about: There is no such thing as bad weather... Even if you are wrapped up in a gazillion down jackets, being out in minus 30 with a terrible wind chill factor will make you feel COLD!
Not sure what a wet willy is in American, but in British English 'willy' is a word for the male appendage - the one at the front!
Lady Fi, as I explained on FB, to me a wet willy has always been someone licking their finger and sticking in another person's ear...very gross but when you are a kid you like being gross and it's only kids I have known who give wet willies.hahahaha..sorry for the confusion- hope I've clarified what I meant- no male appendages here!!!

I kept repeating that phrase this summer when we had rain in Austria and then in Maine. Now we are back in the heat and it is too hot for the kids to be out and no amount of clothing fixes that!
I know you have been busy and a bit out of the loop, but I am glad to see you are back :)
