New Car and New Week

So we ended this week with a new car…nice huh? A 2004 Volkswagon Passat Trendline 4x4 with all the bells and whistles. We’ve been discussing a newer car awhile. The two we have are great but they are so old that the repairs on them start to add up and the Chrysler is a gas guzzler..not nice during these financial crisis times..What we will pay for the new car a month will be half of what we put in the Chrysler every month in gas. The Volkswagon is a diesel.

The four remaining babies are doing great. It’s a different world not having to feed anyone, just make sure Isabella goes to the babies when they cry for her. They are trying to stand and their eyes are opening more and more..Enjoy the two week photos below:

We lost green boy on Thursday. We did everything we could and that is the only comfort in his loss, that and the fact that we will have this experience to build on in the future.

Otherwise life here in the woods is quiet for the moment, I start work next week and that should be interesting along with puppy duty but once we get a system I think it will be fine. The weather is still hot but surprisingly it’s cooler outside then inside..go figure…but this log home definitely knows how to retain heat.

It’s going to be fun the next weeks when the pups get bigger and we can be outside all day with the pups, take them to the beach and different towns around here and socialize them. I feel pretty trapped here in the house for the moment, we still have to watch the pups for another week so that Isabella doesn’t lay on them and crush them but then we can really relax and just enjoy these little lion cubs…get ready folks- this is just the start of the puppy photos that will be arriving on this post over the next weeks…
