On Friday the babies are two weeks old and it’s been one heck of a first two weeks. I’m sorry for my silence but my first litter has not been going as smoothly as I would have liked. We lost one pup last Friday and have one that is behind the rest of the gang..so it’s a lot of work to keep him going. The vets think he has a good chance but it’s an enormous amount of work to keep him going and the lack of sleep is catching up with me- I feel a bit like a zombie walking around here but hey I look at it this way, whatever does not break me can only make me stronger- right??
So I’ve been trying to get some adorable photos of these little guys but this is all they do:
Oh and this too….
I really need to get better about taking videos because it’s really funny to watch them eat- looks like little piglets when they eat- they wiggle and snort and their little tails wag…it’s really funny- a still photo doesn’t do this event justice!! See that guy in the middle in the photo above? That is Bentely, he will be our dog but live with a young couple near us..he’s the biggest male and he will lay around and sleep quite peacefully then suddenly lift his head and immediately go into hysterics until he finds his mother and the milk bar..it’s like if he isn’t sleeping, he wakes and thinks “I NEED FOOD” I can relate to this quite easily!! ;-)) Sleep and eat….sleep and eat….hahahaha…
Ok, I’ll try and get better about posting, I just need Mr. Green boy to catch up some before I can totally relax and think of other things- like blogging!! Hope you are all enjoying your summer so far- I’ve been peeking at your blogs but really don’t have a lot of time to really read a whole posting let alone remark to them..I do it when I can and plan on making a full comeback as soon as possible!!!
Until next time….over and out from the puppy box (oh and we aren’t really using the box so I shouldn’t write that…it’s too darn hot to sit in the bathroom with the pups so we’ve moved them to the living room…so actually I should write- over and out from the living room…puppy central!!!)

I am so glad to hear that things in Puppy Central are looking up. I am sure you are just worn out, but then you look at those PRECIOUS little faces, and you feel a surge of energy for ONE MORE HOUR.. :o) So just keep looking at them!
I am sure it is a lot of work but I do love the update. Sorry that you lost one little fella - that's sad. Hope thing continue to get better though. Can't wait to see them grow more.
So sorry to hear about the lost pup. Hope the other one catches up soon.
It must be so great though to be in Puppy Central and see so many cute beings!
Thanks for sharing these absolutely adorable pictures of the new additions. I hope you feel better with each passing day. Babies of any kind have a way of resurrecting optimism. Cheers.
