My beautiful mother passed quietly away yesterday, 26th of May 2009. She was only 60 years young and had battled a horrible disease for many years with strength and courage. We leave for Dallas/Abilene on Friday so my blog will not be updated until after we are back around the middle of June. Make sure to give those you love a hug and tell them you love them before it’s too late…

60 is too young... I cannot imagine how you must be feeling but I can only imagine how happy your dad is that you are on your way to Texas....

Amy, Many of us know the pain of losing our mothers ... their passing forever leaves a space that never gets filled. My heart goes out to you and your family. I am sure that she left you with advice and sayings that will replay in your mind at precisely the right moments as well as a legacy of love. And there will be times -- in perfect silence, if you play close attention - that you will feel her love. Hugs.
