Baking Before Cleaning

Where did I leave you folks last???? Oh yes, I was going to clean house….well, baking came before cleaning. All morning I’ve been making these whole grain rolls- my own recipe..Actually there is no recipe..I just throw stuff together but I can try and translate what I put in here for you kind people…these are WONDERFUL and I made so many I am going to freeze them and have them to take to work and the kids can take them to school!!! YUM…these will also keep your system working nicely if you know what I mean ;-))

Amy’s Whole Grain Rolls

1tbsp honey

1tbsp salt

1.5dl Linseed

1.5dl sunflower seeds (peeled of course)

1.5dl oats

1.5dl Wheat Bran

1.5dl Another type of wheat bran (my google translator is messing with me)

1.5dl musli with blueberry mix

1.5dl whole wheat flour mix

50grams dry yeast blend in a little cup of warm water

8dl liquid…I mixed some old milk (you can use the kind with clumps- that just makes it better) and warm water..

4tbsp oil (any oil is fine I used raps)

and then add regular flour until it’s able to be kneaded without sticking.

Let it sit under a plastic lid for about 30-45 minutes

Roll into whatever size balls you want and let rise again at least 30 minutes…mix one egg and some milk and then brush this on top of the rolls- bake at about 400F (200C) for about 20 minutes…check often so they don’t burn. My oven is weird so I have to turn my tray half way through…

I had one of these with a hard cooked egg and some tomato slices and a little garlic pepper on top…YUM…and then I tried one with some honey…YUM again!!

Now…..I will clean house…no pictures of that though!!!!
